Major Breakthrough: Education Minister Approves Inclusion of Ghana School of Law Students in Students Loan Trust Fund Plus

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Ghana School of Law is pleased to announce the official approval by the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, for the inclusion of Ghana School of Law students in the Students Loan Trust Fund Plus (SLTF+) scheme.

This milestone marks a significant step toward making legal education more inclusive, accessible, and financially sustainable for all law students.

The inclusion of Ghana School of Law students in the SLTF+ provides a reliable and structured source of financial support. It complements the SRC Scholarship Initiative and significantly reduces the financial and emotional burden faced by many students, allowing them to focus fully on their studies and professional growth.

The SRC extends its sincere appreciation to the Hon. Minister of Education and the Legal Green Association, who mooted this idea to the SRC for onward action.

As the SRC celebrates this milestone, it reaffirms its commitment to championing student welfare, advancing financial inclusion, and ensuring that every Ghana School of Law student has equal access to opportunities on the journey to the Bar.
