The Ghana School of Law’s Student Representative Council (SRC) is the primary liaison between the student body and the school’s administration, dedicated to championing student interests and enhancing the overall student experience. Our core mandate is built on the twin pillars of advocacy and well-being.

ADVOCACY
We are dedicated to being the principal voice of the student body. Our advocacy efforts focus on systemic change and resolving issues that impact the daily life and academic success of students.
Liaison & Policy Dialogue: Continuously engaging with the Administration on curriculum, academic policies, examination procedures, student facilities, and welfare matters to ensure student interests are front and center in decision-making.
Resource Mobilisation: Working to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and resources that directly benefit the student community and enhance their learning experience.
Transparency & Rights: Advocating for fair, transparent, and timely communication from the School and actively upholding the rights and responsibilities of every student as outlined in the GSL regulations and SRC Constitution.
WELL BEING
Recognizing the intensity of legal education, we prioritize the mental, social, and professional well-being of all students, aiming to create a balanced and thriving community.
Academic Support: Organizing supplementary tutorials, revision classes, study groups, and mentorship programs to assist students in challenging areas of law and prepare effectively for examinations.
Student Life & Social Engagement: Hosting vibrant social events, networking sessions, inter-school competitions, and cultural activities to promote community cohesion, relaxation, and interaction among students.
Welfare Services: Running initiatives focused on student health (mental & physical), stress management, financial literacy, career guidance, and ensuring access to essential welfare resources.
